4 Money-Making Online Coaching Business Models
Show Summary
#1- INDIVIDUAL COACHING
Individual or 1:1 coaching is the model you are probably most familiar with. Individual coaching is where you work directly and privately with one person to achieve a goal or overcome a challenge. Typically these sessions are weekly or biweekly. And can be delivered either in person or via phone or video.
#2 – GROUP COACHING
This is similar to individual coaching except you structure the sessions as in-person workshops or online webinars with multiple people. The group members benefit from peer-to-peer learning and a more dynamic environment. It’s also a powerful way to leverage your time (working with more clients over less time at a lower per person price point will give you more opportunity to make more money.)
#3- DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Online courses and e-books are the most popular forms of coaching. Digital products are great to include in your business model. They allow you to invest the upfront time in creating the digital products and setting up a sales funnel to market them. This is an excellent means of generating passive income and is often the starting model for many of my clients.
#4- MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
A membership program is a model where clients pay monthly or annually for access to a collection of digital products. However, it’s not entirely passive income as you would need to create a library of self-guided products. That will require you to provide new content to justify collecting subscriptions. Even with the small commitment of your time, it’s an excellent way to lock-in recurring income.
